Social/Determined level class is for those who play or drill weekly and are enrolled in a ladder league or rec play but may not be advancing to the top group. You are confident in your game and your skills. You know the rules. You are working on deeper serves & returns. Your dinks are improving so that they are not high/deep. You know and sometimes utilize a 3rd shot drop. Players can hit consecutive dinks and drives and not run around backhands. We will focus on adding both power/softness to your game. Players in this class have ‘court presence’ – not hitting out balls. respecting the NVZ and awareness of partner/opponent positioning.
Classes will be 50% skills/drills and 50% coached game play. Skills/Drills will focus on improving fundamental strokes as well as adding more advanced skills and game strategies. This class targets players with a 2.6 to 3.5 DUPR.
